Building Maintenance Units - BMU's
Alternative Access Logistics Ltd design a range of Building Maintenance units (BMUs) for buildings where regular maintenance is required, a powered trolley system offers an economic solution for both window cleaning, maintenance and light repair works. Mounted permanently at roof level, BMUs are generally the safest most complete form of supended access sytem, providing full lateral, horizontal and vertical movement of the working platform/cradle/Gondola.
All our BMUs are designed with all necessary calculations, design drawings and
certification in line with the Supply of Machinery Directive and CE Marking regulations.
The design element of the equipment will be in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 1808.
The installation, on-going use, maintenance and testing will be designed to be in accordance with BS 6037-1.
Alternative Access Logistics offer a range of Building Maintenance Units that can either be fixed position or running on anchored or freelaid tracks. Alternatively, we provide trackless BMUs hat can run on a concrete surface with the laid of a guide rail, enabling the terrace area to be utilised for pedestrian access or other activities.
